Loved her music and listened to her songs many times. Camela has a lot of wisdom and insight that I especially enjoyed.
A unique voice in music today, hers is one that should definitely be heard.
Rebecca Yudenfreund - High Sierra Music Festival
"Widad killed it that day, I was crazy impressed... After these bands finished I was texting my guys like I hope you brought your A game cause these bands AREN'T PLAYING AROUND!"

One hallmark of good songs is that they not only stand up to repeat listening, but that the listener finds something fresh, exciting or inspirational with each new hearing. And Camela Widad Kraemer's songs have that very magical quality. Whether she's singing a meditation about the soul's longing for the beloved, or her bloodrushing upbeat number about an empire created by the coffee bean that makes you want to get up and dance - "Before You're Gone" is one of those rare albums that will continue to grow on you.
Butch Kara - KZGM - Pacifica Radio (Oct 8, 2009)
"Kraemer's graceful, confident vocals, that at times sounds like a hybrid of Natalie Merchant and Fiona Apple, draw in listeners with her melodies and gutsy sound, makng them forget that they're listening to anything other than an amazing folk-rock band. The inspirational lyrical content comes through on each song. A must listen for fans of folk-rock." (click link to read more)

Although the best way to experience Camela's music is watching a live performance, her essence shines through on her debut album, "Eve". Her voice is powerful and bright, with a unique texture I cannot compare to any other singers I have heard. Her lyrics are inspirational and full of promise. This is great music for a roadtrip, or even just an antidote to a bad day. For anyone wanting to bypass the trendy "chick-with-guitar" genre and cut straight to heartfelt folk music--music from and for the soul, this music is for you.
You're fun, 'good energy' as they say. I've enjoyed all of your songs and I look forward to having you back someday.

Incredible. The sound is unique, but somehow seems familiar, thus it is very comfortable and easy to listen to. Her voice is rich and full of heart, I love hearing it. Everyone should hear this CD, it will enrich your lives, make you smile, bring a tear to your eye.
Camela Widad has a stunning and soulful voice that always manages to lift me above my daily cares and troubles. Her songs are so inspiring and heartwarming, it's like groovy medicine for the soul ! I challenge anyone to try and keep themselves from singing along. It's impossible.
